Graduation Day Update

Graduation Update:
Graduation will be held at Cardinal Stadium tonight, gates open at 5:30, ceremonies begin at 7:00. If our spring weather conditions change be prepared to move graduation inside to the dome. Graduation we will be live streamed from our Webb City R7 You Tube page (webbcityR7).

Webb City Cares- Fun Walk

Students who walk will receive an extra recess if they are in elementary and a shorts day if they are middle school and up. They will need to wear their shirt to school the day of the recess/shorts day to prove they were in attendance. 
 
It is a minimum of $15 in pledge donations on the packet to walk per walker. If someone wants to come and just watch their kid/s participate but not get a shirt themselves, they do not have to pay to get in. 
 
There are individual prizes for the two walkers who collect the most in donations and every school also receives prize money, with the top prize being $450!!

Distinguished Citizen

The Webb City R-7 Schools Foundation is pleased to announce Nancy Spaeth as their 2016 Distinguished Citizen. Nancy is the true embodiment of a Distinguished Citizen. She has volunteered 25 years with the kindergarten students at the Madge T. James facility.

A banquet will be held in her honor on Thursday, November 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Continental Banquet Center, Joplin, MO. Tickets are available at the Webb City R-7 School District’s Administration Building at 411 N. Madison, Webb City. Tickets are $30.00/each.

Family Night Event- Online Predators

Webb City CARES has partnered with the technology department to bring in a speaker on Monday March 6th to the high school. Matt Smith is with the Cyber Crimes Task Force and will speak about ways to keep kids safe online. We would LOVE to you attend! Students are learning digital citizenship at school and would be a great way to continue the conversation at home.
The speaker will begin at 6 pm and we should be finished around 7 pm. Child Care will be provided.
