    IMPORTANT DATES

    2021 Senior Dates and Information

    • May 3rd - Senior Awards and Scholarship night (6:00pm) 
      • Students attending this event will receive an invitation letter to attend
    • May 5th - Senior meeting in Barton Auditorium
      • Last Name A-M (8:30-9:30am)
      • Last Name N-Z (1-2:00pm)
    • May 5th - Senior Sunset at Cardinal Stadium (6:30-8:30pm)
      • This event is for senior students only

    • May 6th and 7th - Senior Summative Exams - (5/5 White Day Summatives, 5/6 Red Day Summatives)

    • May 7th - Seniors’ Last Day and Mandatory Chromebook Roll-in
      • Mandatory Senior Chromebook roll-in (2:15-3:00) - WCHS library
    • May 7th - Senior Cardinal Cruise/Parade (6:30-7:30pm)
      • Students and families wishing to participate will line up on Madison Street in front of the high school starting at 6:00pm.  At 6:30, students and families will turn from Madison into the Dome lot, where they will be greeted by district staff, family members, and the Webb City community.  This is a time to create a memory with your family, and to celebrate the Class of 2021.  Students and families are encouraged to show off their decoration skills and cardinal pride! 
    • May 11th - Graduation and Baccalaureate practice (9:00am)
      • If special circumstances arise, please contact Mr. Flora
      • This day/practice is MANDATORY for all seniors and early graduates to attend
      • We will start in the boy’s gym
      • Seniors will have the opportunity to return items and pay fees immediately following the practice (bring your walking paper)
        • location: Barton hallway by the girls gym
    • May 12th - Baccalaureate in Barton Auditorium (7:00pm)
      • Seniors who wish to attend should report to the girl’s gym by 6:20pm

    • May 14th - Graduation at Cardinal Stadium (7:00pm)
      • Seniors should report to the boy’s gym by 6:15pm for lineup
      • There are no occupancy restrictions for graduation at Cardinal Stadium, and seats are first come-first served
      • The graduation ceremony will be streamed online for those who wish to watch from home
      • In the event of substantial weather, the graduation ceremony will be moved inside to the WCHS dome.  We will make all efforts to hold the graduation ceremony at Cardinal Stadium so that graduates may invite as many guests as they wish. 
        • In the event the graduation ceremony has to be moved inside to the Dome, each graduate will be given 6 tickets to distribute to their family members and friends. Students will receive these tickets during their last week at school, and these tickets will be required to view the ceremony from inside the WCHS dome area.
        • Please do not lose these tickets as they will not be replaced
        • The decision as to whether or not graduation will be held inside or outside will be made on the morning of graduation
        • Overflow seating will be provided in Barton Auditorium and both cafeterias (if moved inside), where the ceremony will be streamed for those who wish to attend, but do not have a ticket for Dome entry.

    • May 14th - Project Graduation at WCHS (10:00pm)

    • May 17th - Diploma pickup at WCHS front office

    SENIOR SLIDE SHOW INFO

    THE SENIOR SLIDE SHOW

    An example of the three photos needed for the senior slide show. The Senior Slide Show is just that - a slide show of the current seniors through the  years.

    Students wanting to be included in the slide show need to turn in 3 pictures to Mrs. Fodor at the high school.

    The pictures should be:

    • A baby picture from 0 - 1 years.
    • A toddler or kid picture from 3-8 years.
    • A current picture, this does NOT have to be a senior picture.

    We will only use pictures turned in. All pictures should be labeled with the seniors First and Last Name.

    The DEADLINE - DUE DATE for these pictures is JANUARY 31.
    Pictures may be turned in physically or emailed to Mrs. Fodor at sfodor@wcr7.org.

    THE SENIOR MEMORY SHOW 

    The Senior Memory Show is a slide show of groups of two or more current seniors at any age. Class field trips, birthday parties, athletics, enrollment, anywhere!

    All pictures should be emailed to sfodor@wcr7.org or physically brought to the high school c/o Susan Fodor. Please be sure physical pictures are labeled so they can be returned.


    SENIOR VIDEO

    The senior video will be filmed during the school day. More details will be announced regarding what it will be and when.


    YEARBOOK - SENIOR ADS

    Senior Ads are due by January 29 at 3:00 pm. Different sizes of ad spaces are available to purchase. If you have any questions about senior ads or need to pick up a form, contact Ms. Busby in room 111. Any submissions after 3 p.m. on January 29 will result in a $10 late fee.


    PROJECT GRAD 

    Seniors wanting to attend Project Grad will need to sign up during the spring semester. Please be watching for an email from Mrs. Fodor about sign-ups.

    Semester Graduates are eligible to attend Project Grad and should provide Mrs. Fodor with a personal email address and a cell phone number so you can be informed of important senior meetings, practices, and events pertaining to graduation. You should also be checking your school email regularly for important emails.
