Your life is our life's work.
Students perform better when they show up for class healthy and ready to learn. A School-Based Health Clinic (SBHC) provides care - primary health, mental health and counseling, family outreach, and chronic illness management - without concern for the student's ability to pay and in a location that meets students where they are: at school.
The SBHC located in Webb City High School, next to the main office, offers the following services (but are not limited to):
- Physical exams (General, Sport, Pre-Placement)
- When necessary, prescription medication for the treatment of illnesses or other conditions
- Diagnosis and treatment of minor and acute illness or first aid for small injuries
- Laboratory services, vision and hearing screenings
- Assistance with chronic (on-going) illnesses.
Students must have a completed consent form in order to be seen at the clinic. Parents will also need to provide up-to-date Medicaid or insurance information and all information will be treated with strict confidentiality. Help with Medicaid enrollment will be available. Students without insurance or Medicare will be seen regardless of ability to pay.
Faculty and staff are also welcome to use these services. No medications or medication samples will be kept at Mercy Clinic. Prescriptions will be sent to a pharmacy of your choice. If a specialist is needed, we'll give you a referral for your continued care.
Feel free to contact us for any further information or questions you may have.
