Mr. Wengert is entering his third year as Principal at the Middle School after completing three years as assistant principal here at Webb City High School. Mr. Wengert also served in the same position at Neosho High School for five years. He has worked as a physical education, health teacher, coach and athletic director for ten years before getting into administration. He received a bachelor's degree in physical education from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. He earned a master's degree in education administration from William Woods University and a specialist degree in educational leadership from William Woods University as well. Mr. Wengert is now working to complete his doctorate in Educational Studies. He has been married for 20 years to his wife Julie and has two children.

Mrs. Carpenter is entering her first year as Assistant Principal at the Middle School. Prior to coming to the Middle School, she was a Title I Instructional Coach at Mark Twain Elementary in Webb City. During her career she has also taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Mrs. Carpenter received a bachelor's degree in education from Missouri Southern State University. She earned a master's degree in teaching and technology from William Woods University as well as a master's degree in educational administration from Missouri Southern State University. Mrs. Carpenter and her husband, James, have been married 24 years, and they have three children.
