SUMMER SCHOOL UPDATE

  • The Webb City R7 School District has been under a face-covering mandate since the beginning of the school year due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Many new protocols and guidelines were put into place during this time via our Cardinal Comeback Plan so that our Webb City students would have the opportunity to attend in-person school for the 2020-21 year. We would like to thank our students, parents, and community members for supporting this plan throughout this most challenging time.

With the assistance of the Jasper County Health Department, administrators across the district have closely monitored COVID-19 numbers within our schools throughout the entirety of the school year. Recently, all staff members were given the opportunity to be vaccinated and those who chose to do so were able to receive their vaccination through Mercy Health Care System.

As summer school quickly approaches, beginning June 3 through June 30th and based on the decline of positive cases and quarantines we are pleased to announce that we will be able to provide transportation, incorporate field trips, allow visitors, and masks will be recommended not mandated as long as the positive trend continues throughout summer school. We are hoping that these changes to our Cardinal Comeback Plan will allow students to have a fun and exciting summer school experience.
