How Can I Help

How Can I Help?

Be Someone’s Champion!

Webb City CARES has many volunteer needs throughout the district. Here’s how you can get involved and help our students with Webb City CARES:

School Site Councils

Serve on a CARES school council by attending council meetings and being involved with the school. Parents, faith-based partners, business partners, and social services partners are welcome to join a school council. Every school has a School Site Council.

Lunch Buddies

Volunteers spend time with a group of students during lunch. For just 20 minutes once a week, you can be a positive impact in a child’s life.

Tutoring

Volunteers help children with reading and math. Tutoring volunteers should contact the school for school-specific tutoring needs.

Cardinal MUSCLE

MUSCLE (Men Using Support, Compassion, and Love to Encourage) greet each student at the door as they enter the school building. Cardinal MUSCLE sets a positive mood to start the school day. MUSCLE volunteers help one morning a week.

Nutrition on Weekends

Volunteers pack snacks that are sent home each weekend with students who have been identified in food-insecure homes. Volunteers meet every Thursday morning at the Webb City CARES House.

Special Events

Volunteer to help at Special Events (such as the Fun Walk, Back to School Fresh, School Supply Drive - collection and distribution).

Consider being a champion to a child by volunteering with Webb City CARES. Call us at 417.673.3402 for further information.

*Background checks are required for those volunteer positions that are in direct contact with students.*
